Has it really been that long?

Our summer started out with a trip to California with friends. The kids LOVED the beach and I honestly didn't realize how many cracks and crevices there are on a tiny body. Later that summer Mom and I took the kids to CO for Annie's baby shower. Although it started out questionable if we should attempt the trip, we made it in one piece, and had a great time. Here is our 4 generational picture. Great Grandma D, Me, Adelyn, Grandma, and Gunnar.

Wow - yes, I have a few moments so I thought some new pictures would be in order. We went to Flagstaff when it was unusually hot in Phoenix. At this point, we were watching some belly dancers perform. It was at a little artsy craft fair. The next day we took a train that both Gunnar and Adelyn loved, especially when they tooted the horn

. Gunnar got to go meet some of the baseball plaers. Dan is lucky enough that he gets many tickets to sporting events, and Gunnar loves going to the games with him. Of course, he does LOVE the popcorn that daddy gets for him. We took a family vacation to Michigan just recently. The kids LOVED playing in the green grass. Thanks Tessie for letting us run around your yard. This is at Lake Michigan. I think that Adelyn saw the birds take flight. It was beautiful weather, alhtough warmer than I packed for.
We visited with Dan's side of the family from both his mom's and dad's side. Then after a morning drive (a LONG morning drive) we went to visit my stepsister - Marilyn and family. The kids all had a blast playing together. For more pictures of our adventures, check out Facebook.
